Even in our success, we are misunderstood, because, in the final reckoning, it isn't the novelty of what we have to say that makes us special, but the effort of faith by means of which we come to declare it. It is not so hard to digest a novel idea, even a novel truth, but to change one's allegiance takes time. For many, it is impossible, even when that truth is presented in as compelling a way as possible.
