Truth

There are those who question your sincerity. But the fact you are not the true spokesman does nothing to derogate from the fact that somewhere there must be one. We are for the truth; why should it matter from what source representation comes? Your countrymen, ranged in circles, rein in their steeds and now behold you coldly. Let them. Their contempt is no advantage; it does not raise them higher. What you have inherited, they cannot know, and what they have not inherited they can lay no claim upon. We have all seen the stuff of which they are made; even as they try to prove otherwise, they are losing their humanity, piece by piece. So do not tarry, though neither hasten to depart. Rather, in making your own way, allow the thought of them to be tugged gently aside, as though there were something more important just now for you to remember. Believe me, the space where they had been shall be nothing but fallen sky.
